Why do people around here recommend a store with this kind of "customer service" and draconian policies? I have not shopped there since then.
The CS Rep forwarded it to another department for a reply, and I never heard anything back. I e-mailed H&M's corporate customer service explaining what happened and asked for an explanation of the reasoning behind this policy. But considering ALL seals were unbroken and I had all the original documentation associated with the purchase, I do not see how this is justified at all. Sure, many, probably most, will not accept returns of an OPENED package of underwear. No other retail store I know of has this kind of policy.
